New State-Of-The-Art Gate In Anchorage
We are pleased to announce the opening of our new automated trailer gate at our Anchorage terminal. The recently completed terminal renovations include: new lighting, culvert removal, new pavement, new yard layout, and a new trailer processing gate. This new gate includes three (3) inbound lanes and three (3) outbound lanes that are equipped with TV cameras, intercoms and printers in each lane. These features allow the driver to remain in the truck during gate processing and eliminates a significant amount of paperwork. These new features allow faster gate-processing which equates to on-time delivery to our customers.
Trucking companies that enter our facility need to be prepared to provide the following information at the processing gate:
- TRUCKING COMPANY NAME
- TRACTOR NUMBER
- TRAILER/CONTAINER NUMBER
- CHASSIS NUMBER (if applicable)
- TOTE BOOKING NUMBER
- SEAL NUMBER
- CARGO WEIGHT (if applicable)
- TEMPERATURE (if applicable)
- HAZARDOUS? (yes or no)
Pre-arrival forms are available to carriers upon request. They can be obtained at the gate or give us a call and we can send them to you.
If you haven't seen our new facility, please give us a call and we will arrange a tour for you.
