Posted November 24, 2009 Dear Household Goods Customers:
Totem Ocean Trailer Express (TOTE) has filed a revision to the recently announced increase in rates and charges found in Tariff STB TOTE 700 (Household Goods). The revised filing will increase current STB TOTE 700 rates and charges by 3% effective May 15, 2010. This rate action was filed with the United States Surface Transportation Board in Washington, D.C. Click here for the full announcement.

Totem Ocean Trailer Express, Inc. (TOTE), a privately owned shipping company serving Alaska’s freight and cargo market since 1975, operates a fleet of roll-on/roll-off (RO/RO) cargo ships offering twice weekly service between the Port of Tacoma, Washington and Port of Anchorage, Alaska.
TOTE's new Orca Class vessels entered Alaska service in 2003. The new vessels, M. V. Midnight Sun and M. V. North Star, have the capacity to carry over 500, 28 to 53 foot highway trailers and 250 vehicles.
