Totem Ocean offers a flat file format solution in Excel spreadsheet format transmitted on a scheduled basis. The flat file solution is the easiest and least expensive EDI solution.
Totem Ocean supports the following standard EDI transaction sets for ANSI X12.

Electronic Data Interchange Trading Partner Agreement
All EDI solutions require Totem Ocean and TRADING PARTNER to sign an “EDI Trading Partner Agreement” to facilitate transactions by electronically transmitting and receiving data in agreed formats in substitution for conventional paper-based documents and to assure that such Transactions are not legally invalid or unenforceable as a result of the use of available electronic technologies for the mutual benefit of the parties.
