Early Starts for Fourth Quarter

Subject:          Notice of Planned Early Discharge Operations in Anchorage in 2012

In order for you to better plan your operations in Alaska, we would like to update you on the plan for “early starts” in Anchorage.
 
Below we have listed the dates for these early starts.  We will update the dates each quarter and send out a reminder.  The dates will also be noted on our sailing schedules.
 
The voyages and dates for the schedule changes in the fourth quarter of 2012 are:

The main benefit of this change is that northbound cargo is going to be available earlier in the day as the vessel will be done discharging mid morning instead of early afternoon. The trailer gate in Anchorage will open at 7:00 AM, one hour earlier than normal.

Please coordinate with Anchorage Customer Service to find out the exact details of when your cargo will be available for delivery.

On each day listed above, the cargo cut off for southbound loads will also be one hour earlier, at 9:00 AM.  Over sized cargo and Hazardous cargo should be into TOTE by COB the previous business day.
