Subject: 2012 Christmas Schedule Notice *Reminder and Update*
In order to allow you to better plan your shipments to and from Alaska during the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s Holiday, we would like to advise you of some changes in our sailing and operational schedules. The schedule is as follows:
Northbound from Tacoma:
- There is no sailing on Thursday December 20.
- Voyage 12201 – Midnight Sun- departs Saturday December 22 at 1:00 AM and discharges Anchorage on Wednesday December 26 at 7:00 AM. All present cutoffs remaining in effect.
- There is no sailing on Thursday December 27
- Voyage 12203 – North Star – departs Friday December 28 at 1:00 AM and discharges Anchorage on Monday December 31 at 7:00 AM. Regular cutoff times remain in effect.
- There is no sailing on Thursday January 3
- Voyage 13001 – Midnight Sun- departs Saturday January 5 at 1:00 AM and discharges Anchorage on Tuesday January 8 at 7:00 AM. Regular cutoff times remain in effect.
- NOTE - These are all single sailing weeks so there is no sailing on 12/20, 12/27 or 1/3.
Southbound from Anchorage:
- Voyage 12198 – Midnight Sun – departs Anchorage on Sunday December 16 and discharges Tacoma on Friday December 21 (5 day transit time).
- Voyage 12200 – North Star– departs Anchorage on Tuesday December 18 and discharges cargo in Tacoma on Thursday December 27 (9 day transit time).
- Voyage 12202 – Midnight Sun – departs Anchorage on Wednesday December 26 and will discharge Tacoma on Friday January 4 (9 day transit time).
- Voyage 12204 – North Star – departs Anchorage on Monday December 31 and will discharge Tacoma on Wednesday January 9 (9 day transit time).
- NOTE - These are all single sailing weeks so there is no sailing on 12/23, 12/30 or 1/6.
