TOTE provides full trailer load shipping and Logistics Service between road-connected Alaska and the lower 48 states and Canada. TOTE offers an array of options with regard to your shipping needs. You can ship trailers that you own or we can provide equipment from our fleet of over 1735 trailers, see the TOTE Equipment Brochure. Bookings can be made at the TOTE e-Servicenter which requires pre registration with our Customer Service Department or, via phone, fax, or email.

Northbound Hazardous shipments must be pre-declared and approved. Please fill out the NB Hazardous Manifest form, include a copy of your Bill of Lading complete with proper shipping descriptions, and e-mail or fax both documents to hazardous@totemocean.com

Trailer Gate Schedules
Normal hours of operation
Tacoma:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
- 8:00 AM to 2:30 AM PST
- Wednesday and Friday
- 8:00 AM to Midnight for inbound trailers
- 8:00 AM to 2:30 AM for outbound trailers
Early gate closures at 6:00 PM are scheduled for the second Thursday of every month. Please ensure that all cargo is delivered to the terminal prior to closure.
Anchorage:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Sunday
- 8:00 AM to 11:50 AM
- 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM
Cargo Cut-off Times
Tacoma: Northbound Vessel Sailings
Wednesday and Friday night operations -- listed by type of cargo
- General Cargo - 11:00 PM

- Any trailers received after 11:00 PM will be loaded as space allows on the vessel.
- Inbound Trailers can not be received after Midnight.
- Hazardous Materials - 10:00 PM
- Hot Stow & Water tight stows - 8:00 PM
- Blasting agents or Chlorine loads - 6:00 PM
