How do I establish credit with TOTE?

Print and FAX the Credit Applications form to (253) 449-8124. To download the credit application click on Payment Information

Can TOTE handle any type of commodity including Hazardous Materials?

Yes. We are able to handle almost any commodity including most Hazardous Material shipments. We do restrict some Hazardous Material shipments due to US Coast Guard regulations or exceptional safety concerns. Please read our Hazardous Materials Guide. How much lead time is required to make a booking?
    • Trailer spots within Washington State require 2 days notice.
    • Outside Washington State require a 7-10 day notice.
    • Trailer spots in the Anchorage Bowl or Mat Su Valley area require 1 day notice.
    • Outside A nchorage and Mat Su Valley areas require 3 days notice.
Does TOTE handle Less than Trailer Load (LTL) shipments?

No we do not. Please call or E-mail Customer Service or the Quote Department for a LTL partner reference.

What is the transit time between Tacoma to Anchorage?

Average transit time Port to Port is 66 hours.

Does TOTE transport live animals?

We do not transport live animals individually. However we can handle those who are contained in a trailer. Special arrangements can be made by contacting the TOTE Quote Department at 253-449-8248 or 1-800-426-0074 or E-mail: quote@totemocean.com

Are discounts offered for senior, military, or bereavement moves?

TOTE does not offer discounts for these type of situations at this time.
